Artisan Stone Is Louisville's Custom Cut Stone Company
In order to provide you with an estimate we need you to send us a drawing for your job. A cabinet rendering or simple line sketch of your layout with measurements, is all we need!
All material is sourced through our local supply partners. Many of our suppliers allow you to visit their warehouse where you can view and select full slabs specifically for your job. When you say yes to the perfect color for your project you can hold the slabs at the supply warehouse. We’ll take it from there! The suppliers will communicate your selections to us and we will update your estimate accordingly. When the time comes for your job to be installed we will schedule delivery of the material to our shop, cut and polish the stone with laser precision, and send our installation crew to set your custom tops.
Upon acceptance of the estimate we can put you on the schedule! Installing new tops or replacing existing counters is a two step process. Your first appointment will be scheduled with our technician to create a template for your job, these will be the exact measurements used for the purpose of cutting. The template is created using laser technology to ensure everything fits exactly right. The second date will be booked for install, the time between template and install is typically a minimum of one week, but can be longer depending on demand. To prepare for installation any plumbing must be disconnected and existing countertops should be completely cleared off. Our crew will install the new tops and mount the sink, you need to wait 24 hours before your plumber connects the plumbing to allow time for the sink to set completely.

Absolutely. Customers are welcome to hand-pick slabs at our location or with our suppliers. We offer full custom fabrication services, including shapes, edge profiles, and cutouts for sinks or fixtures—crafted precisely for your space.
How long does the countertop installation process take?
The installation primarily involves two steps:
- Template creation using laser precision.
- Final installation, typically within about a week after templating. The actual countertop set takes anywhere from 1 to 5 hours, depending on the project.
What maintenance is required after installation, and do you offer warranties?
- Engineered stone (quartz, porcelain, sintered stone): Non-porous and low-maintenance—clean with mild detergent and avoid extreme heat.
- Natural stone: Requires annual sealing, cleaning with pH-neutral products, and prompt care for spills.
We provide manufacturer warranties on engineered materials, and guarantee the quality of our installation workmanship.
